Marcia Jacobs, Chairperson
Marcia was appointed to the Board on August 25, 1989.
She served as Chairperson of the
Board for the years of 1991 and 1992. She served as Vice-Chairperson for
1994 and 1995. She served as Secretary-Treasurer for 2000 and 2001.
Marcia holds the distinction of being the Board Member with the longest tenure.
She is currently serving a three-year term scheduled to end August 25, 2010.

Robert Sturm, Vice-Chairperson
Bob was appointed by Commissioner Ed Peterson to the
Governing Board in August, 2005.
He was appointed to fill a vacancy created by the retirement of Roe Taliaferro from
the Board. The expertise Bob gained while Police Chief of the City of
Mission will be greatly appreciated by the District. He is currently

Janet Fanska, Treasurer
Janet was appointed by Commissioner Ed Peterson to the
Governing Board in August, 2006. She was appointed to fill a vacancy
created by the retirement of Larry Smith from the Board. She is currently
serving a three-year term scheduled to end August 25, 2009.

Kevin Kombrink, Board Member
Kevin was appointed to the Board on August 25, 1996 by Commissioner David Wysong. Kevin was voted by the Board to assume the Secretary-Treasurer position on
August 25, 1996. The position was left open by the retirement of former
Secretary-Treasurer Tracy Lind. Kevin assumed the position of Chairperson
in December, 1998. In January, 2004, Kevin became Vice-Chairperson upon
the election of Georgia Nesselrode to Chairperson. He is currently serving
a three-year term scheduled to end August 25, 2008. Kevin currently serves
on the Leave Committee, the Communications Committee, and the Retirement

Georgia Nesselrode, Board Member
Georgia was appointed by Commissioner Gary Anderson to the
Governing Board in August, 2000.
She was appointed to fill a vacancy created by the retirement of Veda Hoffhaus
from the Board. Georgia was elected Chairperson in December, 2003, to
begin January, 2004. The expertise Georgia gains from her current position as
Program Manager of the Government Training Institute at the Mid-America Regional
Council has been greatly appreciated by all in the District. Georgia is
currently serving a three-year term scheduled to end August 25, 2009.
