This
is an aerial view of our complex at 3921 W. 63rd Street.
The Administrative Building is the curved structure on the left. The Administrative Building was completed after the demolition of old Station No. 2. It houses the Administrative Staff for the District including the Fire Chief, the Director of Finance and Business, the Division Chief in charge of Fire Prevention, Safety, and Loss Control, the Public Education Specialist, the Fire Inspector, and the Administrative Assistant. Both Station Number 2 and the Administration Building were planned and built to meet all ADA requirements. Both the Administrative Building and Station 2 were designed by Shaughnessy, Fickel, and Scott Architects, Inc. Both buildings have caused quite a stir with their unusual design, curving walls, and floating ceilings. The District is proud to show off the Administrative Building and adjoining Station 2 and the members and apparatus of the District stationed there.
