All District vehicles are equipped with Automatic Vehicle Locators (AVLs).  AVLs use Global Positioning Satellite to allow the Emergency Communications Center (the 911 Center) to find the closest, most appropriate unit.


Vehicles at Station #1--6400 Martway

Truck 21 is a 2000 Sutphen TSAL3.  It is a 100' aerial platform truck.  It has a 1500 GPM (gallons per minute) pump and carries 500 gallons of water.

Truck 21 carries First Aid equipment including an Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) and extrication equipment including the Jaws of Life and two 25 ton air bags for lifting.  A Thermal Imaging Camera is also on board this vehicle to help the firefighters find victims during heavy smoke conditions.  This vehicle also carries ground ladders, axes, and other equipment used during incidents.

 

 

Engine 21 is a 2001 Ferrara Inferno.  It is a pumper truck.  It has a 1250 GPM pump and carries 500 gallons of water.

Engine 21 carries First Aid equipment including an Automatic External Defibrillator (AED).  A Thermal Imaging Camera is also on board this vehicle to help the firefighters find victims during heavy smoke conditions.  This vehicle also carries ground ladders, axes, and other equipment used during incidents.

 

 

 

Rescue 21 is a 2006 Ferrara Ignitor.  It is a pumper truck.  It is equipped with trench rescue equipment and heavy rescue equipment.  It also features a 20Kw generator with a light mast.

 

 

 

 


Vehicles at Station #2--3921 W. 63rd Street

Engine 22 is a 2006 Ferrara Inferno.  It is a pumper truck.  It has a 1250 GPM pump and carries 500 gallons of water.

Engine 22 carries First Aid equipment including an Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) and extrication equipment including the Jaws of Life and one 50 ton air bag for lifting.  A Thermal Imaging Camera is also on board this vehicle to help the firefighters find victims during heavy smoke conditions.  This vehicle also carries ground ladders, axes, and other equipment used during incidents.

 

 

 

205--Battalion Chief vehicle is a 2006 Suburban and is equipped with first aid equipment and AED.  It is used as a command post at emergency scenes.

 

 

 

 

Reserve is a 2001 Ferrara Inferno.  It is a pumper truck.  It has a 1250 GPM pump and carries 500 gallons of water.

The Reserve is used when another truck is out of service.  Equipment which is not already on this truck is transferred from the out of service unit.

 

 


Vehicles at Station #3--9011 Roe

Truck 23 is a 2006 Pierce Dash Chassis.  It is a 105' aerial ladder truck.  It has a 1500 GPM (gallons per minute) pump and carries 500 gallons of water.

Truck 23 carries First Aid equipment including an Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) and extrication equipment including the Jaws of Life.  A Thermal Imaging Camera is also on board this vehicle to help the firefighters find victims during heavy smoke conditions.  This vehicle also carries ground ladders, axes, and other equipment used during incidents.

 

 

Engine 23 is a 2004 Pierce Dash Chassis.  It is a pumper truck.  It has a 1250 GPM pump and carries 500 gallons of water.
